Let's learn about オクトーバーフェスト in English

Guten Tag! This means こんにちは in ドイツ語. At school students learn English. But they also learn about foreign cultures (外国の文化), too. In September students learned about Germany (ドイツ).

At the end of September, there is a big festival in Germany called Oktoberfest (オクトーバーフェスト). It is a lot of fun. You can eat lots of delicious food, dance and enjoy games.

Students can choose what German food (ドイツの料理) they want to eat. Sausage (ソーセージ) is very popular with our students.

Students can also learn some German words for animals. Some words are very easy. For example 'ゾウ' in 英語 is 'elephant'. In ドイツ語 it is 'elefant'. But there are difficult words too.

As always Totoro is here to help students. He is wearing lederhosen (レーダーホーゼン).

今回はドイツの特集です。

ドイツでは９月末にオクトーバーフェストという大きなお祭りがあるそうです。

おいしい食べ物を食べたり、ダンスをしたり、ゲームをしたりとたくさんの楽しみがあるようです。

今回は食べたいドイツ料理を選んでもらいました。本校生徒にはソーセージが人気のようです。

ドイツ語の動物読みもおもしろいので是非チャレンジしてみてください。
